We will discuss the process and your wishes for the funeral step by step in a personal meeting. If you wish, we can also provide you with an initial cost estimate. Following the consultation, it is also possible to discuss the funeral stationery. We will support you in setting up the texts and will send you a "good to print" later. It is possible for you to choose a completely different card shape or type of paper. Let us know your wishes and we will be happy to help you realize them.

Basic hygiene care is carried out before the deceased is dressed in personal clothing. The deceased is washed for the last time, shaved if desired, had their hair done and made up in such a way that a dignified farewell is possible.

It can mean a lot to relatives to lay the deceased out at home for a few more days. Another option is to lay the body out in the community's funeral hall or another suitable location. Many institutions have laying-out rooms that allow the body to be laid out in the place where the deceased last lived. It is also possible to dispense with a laying-out. However, if you are in doubt or cannot assess whether it would still mean a lot to someone to be able to say goodbye, we recommend that you lay the body out so that you don't miss anything.

We encourage you to create memories. Using this time between death and burial can be decisive for the further development of the grieving process. Saying goodbye at the coffin means consciously realizing that a life has irrevocably ended. You may be present or help with all the activities. It is up to you to decide whether you want to stay in the same room, watch or even help. It is important for us to say that nobody "has to" do anything when mourning or saying goodbye. We think it is important to have a choice and to know what is on offer.

In addition to floral decorations, personal items can also be brought along for the laying out. The coffin may be painted, music may be played or a drawing may be placed in the coffin lid - impression needs expression (Jorgos Canacakis). You can take care of decorating the coffin, or we can arrange everything together.

On the date agreed with you, we will transport the deceased in our hearse to the crematorium or to the laying-out area. From time to time we are accompanied by relatives, just as it suits you.

We take care of all the necessary formalities at the registry office, the local authority, the crematorium and other offices. We will then send you all the necessary documents so that you can cancel insurance policies and deregister. Ask for our "Checklist for deregistrations" so that nothing is forgotten.
